A series of workshops of myth, magic, medicine and meaning, led by Medical Herbalist Maggie Haworth.

This magical history of trees will be interwoven with stories, traditional and modern day medicinal uses and will also teach how to make and use Ogham casting sticks for divination.

The Celtic tree calendar comprised 13 months, not 12, with December 24th to January 20th being the 1st month of the year represented by birch. The first workshop will take place in the wildlife garden at Seaton Wetlands in the 6th month (May) represented by hawthorn.
