Festive Fun for All Discover the Robin Trail at Seaton Wetlands
The East Devon District Council (EDDC) Countryside Team is spreading festive cheer with a seasonal Robin Trail at Seaton Wetlands—a fun and free activity for all ages to enjoy this Christmas.
People are invited to explore the beautiful local nature reserve, owned and managed by East Devon District Council, while searching for 12 charming wooden robins hidden throughout the wetlands. The trail offers families a great opportunity to enjoy time outdoors and connect with nature during the holiday period.
The trail will be on site from December 14 until January 31 and is free to take part in.
Whilst at the wetlands you can also visit by the Discovery Hut which is manned by an enthusiastic team of knowledgeable volunteers. At the Discovery Hut visitors can learn more about the local wildlife and purchase hot drinks and basic snacks, the proceeds of which go towards the sites on-going management. The Discovery Hut is open:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 11am - 3pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 11am - 1pm
On select dates, Guide in the Hide volunteers will be on hand to help visitors enhance their birdwatching experience. To find out when these sessions are available, visit wildeastdevon.co.uk/whats-on.
