Wild About Seaton Masterplan
Content
Seaton’s landscape, wildlife and heritage are central to what makes the town special. From the Jurassic Coast and East Devon National Landscape to Seaton Wetlands, the Tramway and local museums, these places are valued by residents and visitors alike. Many local organisations and individuals already work hard to care for these assets and help people enjoy them, with a shared commitment to protecting nature and celebrating Seaton’s unique character.
The Wild About Seaton Masterplan brings these efforts together under a single, shared vision. It sets out practical ideas to improve access to nature, create new habitat, strengthen links between local sites, and create more opportunities for people to get involved. By working in partnership, developing new trails and activities, and building a strong Wild About Seaton identity, the Masterplan aims to support community connection, wellbeing, and pride, while helping Seaton thrive for the future. Local residents and stakeholders are at the heart of this approach, with opportunities to help shape and deliver the plans as they develop.
