Become a Seaton Wetlands Tuesday Task Force Volunteer
If you enjoy hands-on conservation work and have a passion for Seaton Wetlands, this is the role for you!
As part of the Tuesday Task Force, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the award-winning Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve.
What you’ll do:
Typical tasks include construction projects like fencing, boardwalk building, and bridge repairs, along with maintaining hides, platforms, and hedgerows.
Volunteers have the opportunity to develop new skills and an understanding of habitat management techniques under the guidance of our Rangers.
What We’re Looking For:
- No previous experience is necessary
- Volunteers should have an interest in supporting conservation and site management efforts
- A good level of general fitness
- An interest in being outdoors in all weathers

- Flexible Shifts: Join us every Tuesday from 9:30am to 1pm - pick the sessions that fit your schedule.
- Team Support: You’ll volunteer as part of a group under the guidance of the Countryside Ranger. Volunteers have the chance to get together at our popular volunteer socials.
- Training Provided: Volunteers are provided with an induction and are offered training throughout the year. A fleece, polo shirt and relevant PPE is provided.
- Make a Difference: Help to protect our flagship site.
