🌙✨ Sunset Nightjar Walk at Trinity Hill ✨🌙
Join the Wild East Devon team for a magical evening adventure as the sun sets over the stunning Trinity Hill local nature reserve. This special guided walk invites you into the twilight world of the Nightjar - one of Devon’s most mysterious and enchanting birds.
As dusk settles, you’ll learn all about this rare species and, with a bit of luck, see Nightjars swooping silently across the heath and hear their iconic churring call echoing through the landscape. It’s an unforgettable wildlife experience at the most atmospheric time of day.
Trinity Hill also boasts breath-taking sunset views across East Devon, making this the perfect way to spend an evening immersed in nature.
🌿 What to Expect
• A 1.5‑hour guided walk with plenty of stops, walk begins approximately 15 minutes before sunset
• Uneven and sometimes muddy terrain (not suitable for wheelchairs or those with limited mobility)
• Cooler evening temperatures - warm clothing recommended
• Bring along a hot drink and ensure you’re wearing sturdy walking shoes or boots
